Detailed Guide from Shinjuku Station to Nokogiriyama (Weekends)

  • Take the 7:51am JR Shinjyuku Sazanami 1Limited ExpressTateyama from Shinjuku Station to Hama-Kanaya Station (arriving at 9:40am)

  • This train departs from platform 7

  • You can use your IC card (i.e. Suica or Pasmo) and the fare should be approximately ¥3,560 one way

  • You will arrive at Hama-Kanaya Station at 9:40am or Hota Station at 9:45am and your guide will meet you at the station

  • Take the 7:20am Tokyo Eki JR Kosoku Bus Noriba from Tokyo Station to Kazusa Minato Eki mae (arriving at 8:31am)

  • This bus departs every hour from Platform 7

  • The bus terminal is located at the Yaesu Central South Exit Side and can be located on Google Maps here

  • The bus terminal is not too far away from the McDonalds in the station

  • You will need to buy a ticket from the bus terminal departing from Tokyo Station in the direction of Tateyama Station. You can show this image to the attendant if it is easier (booking the bus service outlined in red)

  • Tickets should be approximately ¥2,600 one way

  • Walk from Kazusa Minato Eki mae bus stop to Kazusa-Minato Station (approximately 7 minute walk) which is in the direction of the petrol station

  • Take the Uchibo Line Local Awa-Kamogawa train to Hama-Kanaya Station departing at 9am (you can use your Suica card for this train)

  • You will arrive at Hama-Kanaya Station at 9:10am or Hota Station at 9:15am and your guide will meet you at the station

  • Take the 7:20am Tokyo Eki JR Kosoku Bus Noriba from Tokyo Station to Kazusa Minato Eki mae (arriving at 8:31am)

  • Trains depart form Hota Station directly to Tokyo Station at 3:04pm (arriving 5:11pm), 3:57pm (arriving 6:01pm) and 4:58pm (arriving 7:04pm)

  • Take the Uchibo Line train which continues all the way to Tokyo Station

  • The train also stops at Shin-Nihonbashi station
